My thoughts on Tampa (3 months) (Brandon, Citrus Park: hotels, house, living)

I had been 3 months in Tampa and lived in South Tampa and near the airport. I visited the outskirts of Tampa (East Area), Brandon, Downtown, South Tampa, Town & Country, Carrollwood and Citrus Park.

My thoughts on Tampa

• I found people like everywhere: Good, Bad and people that just don’t care
• Drivers the same
• The public transportation, compared to where I come from is excellent. Each ½ hour a weekdays until 10 pm or 11 pm, and you can also travel on weekends.
• The sun is hot but does not affect if you are under a shade and breeze always blows. I seem to have spent the hottest months of the year and if this is all, it can be tolerate. Life does not stop.
• Inside the house you can have A / C all the time and pay a small amount fee, where I come from that's impossible unless you could pay $ 175.00 for electricity bill by just one small A / C.
• What you pay for water service is lower too.
• For Bicycling is perfect
• There is plenty to do for the family out of the house, pools, beach lots of water everywhere. A paradise and I have not yet visited the West Tampa area (clearwater, St pete).
• Many jobs of more than $10.00 p / h
• Many cultural diversity

What I not like:

• The negativity of many people
• A lot of people living on the street
• Some government processes

Each person sees life differently, I can tell you that Tampa is a good place to live and what we have seen so far we like it here.
PS: The Westfield Citrus Park Mall and all that area seemed beautiful to us

We came on vacation but thinking in stay, definitely we will stay. We do not come with a lot of money; I've been living with relatives and cheap hotels. I got work in 3 weeks but because of we moving to different places lost opportunities. Now we’re more stable in South Tampa and with a possible job at the MacDill air force Base. We came from Puerto Rico. Giving thanks to God every day and to this forum too for things that we had accomplish so far. Thanks for ask:Annie, PDF, Beach, Gyphychic
