Hi All! We are in our late fifties/mid sixties married couple interested in a one or two bdrm. rental under 950 a month in a high rise bldg pool, walking to shopping and public transportation. The public trans is a must as we will not have a car and want access to a beach. We like quiet. We are looking in Tampa or north/south of that area. Thanks for any advice where to look.

Tampa doesn't have any beaches where you would want to bathe - it's the Bay water not the Gulf, and often has high bacteria content. You have to look at the barrier islands to be on or near the Gulf beaches. Check out Clearwater Beach and south to St. Pete Beach.
