Also to do the Biltmore estates, you could easily take a full day to do it right...
As I said in my post, both are out of the way, but worth the side trips if you've never been there. Biltmore Estate is very beautiful as is Monticello. I can't believe there are Americans who've never been to or have heard of these two places. Spent the entire day at each place - so if you're in a hurry to get from point A to point B, save it for when you have time

It's sad, but South of the Border is the highlight of that route. I bought a rubber snake.


Try to watch for the signs so you won't miss it.
