Hello friends.
I am from Europe.
I will be at tampa with my family on ending of february or beginning of march.
I will come for refreshing my english with my family.
I will stay roughly one year.
I have been researching tampa life.
So this site is very useful for me.

I have some questions:

I may give 1100-1200 max for rental house. And ı need 2 bedroom house/apartments.

1- Which area is suitable for my family in that condition. The ares must safety and tidy. I find temple terrace for example. But research. What is your sugestiong, Which areas do ı have to look at except from temple terrace.

2- I am researching for driving licence conditions. I have international licence. But like this licence is valid may be first 2 months? How is being taken driving licence? İs tehere any example questions on net, I can not find that.

3- For first 10 days I may stay in hotel or guest places. Which place do you recommend, for first 10 days. Becauze When ı research rental house/apt. I will stay in hotel.

thank you indeed. grateful if you reply. regards....

You can get a decent two bedroom apartment for $1200 in many nice areas here. A two bedroom house for that price would be hard to find in a nice area.

.
I'm not sure if there is anything online but when you arrive you can go to the DMV and get samples and the rules of the road to help you study at home.

For 10 days you would probably want to stay in an extended stay hotel with a small kitchen so you are not eating out for every meal. Check out tripadvisor.com. They will have ratings and prices on most of the hotels in Tampa.

What do you think of temple terrace.
I find a beatiful houses with green.

I plan to go to Tampa Lang. Center (9309 North Florida Avenue Suite 109 Tampa, Florida, 33612)

I must keep calm with family while I will be in course, My family is in house.

Could you please suggest me of area like temple terrace. İt has to be close to 9309 North Florida Avenue Suite 109 and clean and cheap.

And I am researching places....
For driving licence, thank you as well.

You can download the drivers handbook here Florida Drivers Manual

This might be helpful too. Florida Written Drivers Test - Florida Services

I think the Forest Hills neighborhood is nice and close to the Tampa Language Center on Florida Ave.
There's an apartment complex called "Deerpath on the lake" that has 2br that fits your budget.

Good luck !

There are web sites that specialize in booking car hires/rentals in the US for foreigners. You end up getting your car from a major US rental company like Avis, but the rates are pre-negotiated and include all the insurance that you'll need. Two of these sites are Cheap Car Rentals, Best Prices Guaranteed | Rentalcars.com and Cheap Car Hire, Best Rental Prices | Rentalcars.com

If you don't use one of these web sites and try to book directly through a US company, usually you'll show up thinking the car will cost some rate, but at the counter they'll make you buy their insurance which will make the actual rate much highetr and is always a rip off. But a few U.S,. rental company web sites, like www.hertz.com, give you the opportunity to identify yourself as a foreigner and then they'll give you a quote with all the insurance that you'll need included in the quote. But I don't think these will be better rates than Travel Jigsaw or Carhire 3000.
