I had read a couple years ago they would be coming to Sarasota area, but haven't heard since then. Maybe now they actually have a store they will expand. I know nothing about this chain, however.

Sprouts in PH has been opened for over a week now. It's nice to have another option and it seems packed every time we go there since opening.

WOW I am excited too and I dont even live in Palm Harbor. Theres a semblance of forward moving when more of these stores pop up in an area. If you're in an area where only Dollar General and Save A Lot is, you know its not moving up in the world. But it makes me have one more reason for liking Palm Harbor at any rate. And its not that Sprouts is my favorite store but wherever they were when I was in California, it was always a nice neighborhood where they showed up in.

Ever since Sprouts opened in Tampa I have not set foot in Walmart or Publix. I used to shop for produce at Walmart and meats/breads at Publix. Now I buy everything at Sprouts except stuff like detergent, soap, ziploc bags, etc. That stuff I buy on Amazon, which is cheaper than the warehouse clubs.

Sprouts (and Aldi, etc.) are so good and so cheap, there is no reason to go to a traditional grocery store anymore. I can't think of any reason why I would ever set foot in a Publix ever again.

Every time I go to Aldi or Sprouts and I come out of there with bags and bags of groceries for under $75 I think to myself, this would never happen at Publix.

I feel sorry for the people who waste their hard earned money at Publix, Fresh Market, Whole Foods, etc.
