My fiancé has received a job opportunity in the Tampa area and we will be moving this summer, however the questions that I have are as follows:

1. we are not only a blended family but also a interracial family and with this being said what is the best area (or suburb) for a family like ours?

2. what are the better school options our children range in age from 8-12 and they have been in the public school system however there are no magnet schools in our area but they all have 3.0-4.0 gpa's at the current moment.

3. do a lot of the neighborhoods have community pools, parks. etc.?

4. we also have ties with the va system as well as active military is the air force base helpful and which va do you recommend.

my fiancé will be coming down the first of April to meet with the new company as well as scout some of the neighborhoods and schools what would be the recommended neighborhoods to view? Also we have a full blooded pit bull and a pit bull mix how are pit bulls treated in the area and are there a lot of breed discrimination laws in the area?

thank you all in advance

Check out the New Tampa area. Nice communities with great schools. You can also check into the Fishhawk area. They have some of the highest rated schools. You won't have any problems with being a blended family here in Tampa.
Good luck.
