I guess, although it's not only TB, but SP that continues to impress. More importantly, as the list could be Anywhere, USA, the happiness and pleasure with simple things. Life is too short to moan about blah blah blah.

Right, many people complain online anonymously, just like the network news that influences them. Anyway, my 2-cents worth is over, time for the next person to list something.

Free Tours

These might be of interest to people in the area. Some of the links are broken, but the architecture one is particularly noteworthy, as it even has QR stations, installed by the AIA, where people with their phone can walk, scan and get a guided tour! There is one for Hyde Park, Ybor City and Downtown, as well as other more notable regional sites.

Also, Pops in the Park is coming up! It will be with the Florida Orchestra, is free, and there will be fireworks and food vendors from the St. Pete farmers market there.

Also, if that isn't reason enough to show up, it will be 68 degrees that night. Now, that might not sound like something unusual, but it will actually mark the first time since May 8th of this year that the temperature, at any point in the day dipped below 70. I would say that's a strong sign that our comfortable weather season is on it's way!!

Planning a trip in the next couple weeks to our "Highlands". Plan on stopping through Brooksville in AM for brunch and seeing the abandoned Victorian treehouse, hiking for a little while at Withlacoochee, then paddling/tubing at Weeki Wachee and possibly taking in a mermaid show. Any other roadside stops or things I should look out for during the drive? Obviously nothing too significant since as it is, the hiking/water stuff will take most of the day, but just anything small that may be of interest.
