Hello!
My girlfriend and I are moving to Tampa and we have already had one problem with an apartment complex.
We would like an apartment kind of close to the airport area. I am not sure what those neighborhoods would be called.
Any suggestions of any gay-friendly complexes in those areas?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you!

You can move into any Apartment, Condo, Duplex, Single Family Home or even a Weekly Motel in the Tampa Bay area. There are no signs out front that say, "No LGBT Allowed"

If you had a bad experience with a Landlord, then they are breaking the law.

Tampa is diverse in general and LGBT-friendly, with Ybor having entire gay district and community with events happening. Certain areas are more LGBT than others, but otherwise it's all spread out really. I think St. Pete would be another option especially downtown/Kenwood area. They also host Gay Pride and it's pretty gay-friendly there all throughout. Also may be close to the airport.

We're not Mississippi. You won't have any issues on this unless you create them. People in the Tampa/St Pete area are not going to care.

The suburbs are a little more conservative than the artsy or college neighborhoods, but if you keep private stuff private nobody can offend or feel offended.
