I cut the cord on TV as they kept increasing every time. For about 2 to 3 years I keep getting discounts to sell me a product and resisted until I found one out...finally. Wasn't in hurry at all. Frontier offered a two year deal I couldn't resist. Here is a deal:

TV (extreme HD with BeIn (I am a soccer fan) and free HBO for two years )
Internet (with wireless router) 50/50.

Six month $84/month (out the door including all tax and fees)
$107/month for month 7 to 24 (out the door). I couldn't really find anywhere close to this with other providers.

Three year ago I cut the cord because I was paying just for a TV more than what I would pay month 6 to 24.

I am very happy with what I got

Currently paying $130/month for the following:

Provider: Frontier Communications
No Contract
-75/75 Internet
-Preferred TV Package
-1 HD DVR
i have had frontier for a long time. i dropped the whole DVR package /TV they tried to tell me i needed 75 /75, but unless you are streaming 5 or more tv services at the same time that is BULL.

15/15 gets me at least 3 people streaming , kids playing games surfing etc the same time.

Frontier charge me 39.99 a month for that. I buy my tv service as a streamed product for 29.99 a month, that gives me all the news stations, most of the channels. I purchased an Amazon Fire for 90 bucks, it has a remote and i just remember to stop it streaming when i not using it so as to not abuse the service.

We love it. no contract and the whole thing costs 75 month including taxes. it got rid of the hassle and big clunky boxes. Plus you can set up five devices at home included in the price.

it is not perfect but it cheap and i can switch out tv provider with no calls, no hassle no broken promises.

i use playstation vue btw but there are a few (you dont need a playstation it is a silly name)

i am in seattle with frontier, but i am sure they sell you cheap fios too.

for local tv i have a OTA TIVO and antenna.

oh and i use the google home wifi router product i purchased for 120 directly from google.
It is plug and play you just disconnect your Frontier product plug it in and use your smartphone to manage it, it is the best product i have ever had with my frontier account i never get dropped anymore and it is handling about 25 wifi devices at anyone time. YOU can even press a button on the screen and tell it to give priority to any particular thing you want for while or one click drop your kid who won't get off the internet..
