Do you use a local agent or go through the Internet/phone for your quotes and/or policies?

We need to find a different auto insurance company since USAA is on drugs.

Recommendations? We are in LoL.

Find an Allstate agent. Or, find an independent agent.

I wouldn't work off the internet. A warm body familiar with the area and the types of policies and coverages offered is going to be far better at finding you the best value.

I would avoid State Farm. It's been my experience and opinion that they will not give you the best and most competitive products.

Before I got a huge discount from my employer I used https://www.greatflorida.com/mobile/
They found me the best coverage for great price on home and auto.

I concur regarding USAA. They quote me pretty much double what everyone else does every year when I shop around.

I've been using 21st Century for auto and American Integrity for home since I moved down here.

Moody D'Avirro & Associates.
They underwrite policies for various insurance companies, so they can oftentimes find you the best rate.

I have a friend who I run and go to the gym with, she is a self employed insurance agent - really nice and helpful to folks.
She has recently done work for a few folks I know and they are all very happy with her. If you are interested DM me.

Try Liberty Mutual for a quote they have good rates. They also do a policy for a year rather than 6 months

My tips on insurance:

1. They are nearly all the same- just ensure your coverages are equal when comparing. Don't listen to people say one is better than the other- it's all anecdotal.

2. Evaluate your insurance provider *every* year (car, home, boat, etc) and switch if cheaper.

3. You don't build relationships with insurance companies. Don't be fooled, loyalty rewards are nothing but a marketing tool in insurance.

4. Maintain a good credit score and ensure your driving history is accurate.
