Live in Los Angeles - FYI.

Just went to Miami, specifically W. Kendall on some family business & to spend holidays with a friend over the holidays.

While there I noticed a majority of houses that I saw had very nice decorative mailboxes. I will say that in LA - and I have lived in many places here, the mailboxes are a low priority decoration wise - and it shows.

Wondered if there is any specific reason for the nice mailboxes there? One thought that comes to mind are the street widths in residential neighborhoods are not as wide as in LA. That said - your neighbors are kind of closer to you than they are here. Does that have anything to do with it?

If anything - compliments to your all with your nice mailboxes.

Think its more just about having a nice looking house and if you have to have that sticking out front, why not let it look nice too.
