I've worked on the Kohler and the performance is very good. Twenty-five percent of the regular are flushed more than once... Unless your a Vgan.

We bought a new Kohler throne. Stand back before you flush or you might get a hernia! I've looked at the new washer/dryers, but wonder if I need a degree in engineering just to program the things. Why is it so complicated any more just to do laundry?

In an apt., if it's on the same circuit as your computer, the control panel could get messed up. This is true of any of the high end machines that operate by computer. I'd definitely go for it. If you need a full size machine stick to the front loaders. That's why they use them in other countries, much less water consumption.

great to hear I am about to purchase the one that has the STEAM Options in it ! I cant wait its a front loader! Being originally from Germany I am sooo excited to purchase another frontloader again... no more torn towels :-) CLEANER wash that comes out :-) and much more volume to be put in :-) Can't wait until I order mine next week
