There are no lights north of Yankee town. Just kinda scary as sometimes a unit is hiding at nite and going well over 100mph would not be nice. Just as well keep flying and hide in the woods somewhere.

I live in SWFL so that is very rare not to see stop lights ever 500 feet.

Tonight I saw someone blow thru a red light because it was slick and they didn't want to stop on slick road, plus going to fast. Luckily our county seems to have more of a delay on when the other lights turn green. That and people drive too fast in parking lots down here. I work at Publix and they either drive too fast or don't look when they back out and don't know what the arrows mean.

North of Brookesville the road loses much of its danger factor and becomes a pastoral trip into wild Florida outback. although going 180mph brings on its own set of dangers, one of them being caught by the local constabulary with a grudge against them city slikckers.=

I'm curious of what that does to insurance rates when you get pulled over and ticketed for going x 2-3 times over the posted speed limit. And how long do you go without a license when you get pulled over for doing that kind of speed.

Well not something i have done yet with this Vette. We have star parties just north of Otter creek where people bring their telescopes. Been going up there since 1985 and would also let it rip for a short burst in whatever i was driving over the years. Just one nite i saw a unit throw the lights on someone and you sure as heck can't see them as it is so dark up there. I would think it would be jail doing over 120, unless you can sweet talk the officer.

I also believe FL drivers can be the worst I have ever seen.
I drove 700-1000 miles per week all over FL , based in Tampa Bay .
I just recently moved , the first thing I noticed that most drivers actually drive close to the speed limit in my new state.
FL is a land of lawlessness IMO.
We do call it home and will return someday regardless.

I see you are in Butler County, Ohio. I grew up in Fairfield. Make sure you check out Jungle Jims on Rte. 4, that place is incredible. Started out by selling day out fruit to GM workers out of the back of a 1969 Dodge Charger, now it is one of the biggest foodie stores in the world.

Also, try the Ribs at Montgomery Inn in Montgomery, Ohio, excellent. LaBullBoxer31 Pizza and Angilos Steak Hoagies are also great, plus Skyline Chili.
