I'm traveling to Tampa on a business trip in late April. What do you recommend as far as restaurants, bars, clubs, etc.

THANKS! Great information...

I'm in my late 20's....will be looking for some good nightlife and good food (steak, chops). Also, is there anything worth seeing as far as scenery/beaches? Just curious...

Where should I avoid? I don't need to spend a night in the slammer on a business trip.

I have my best steak at Malio's downtown..but Bern's in Hyde Park is world famous and very Tampa(always had a great meal there too!).

You can get in trouble anywhere, but if it's gonna happen, Ybor City might do it to ya

Stay out of Drew Park and East Adamo Drive, unless your into the Adult type establishments(XXX theaters, stores, videos, spas)

Some "only in Tampa" things to see may be Bayshore Blvd, University of Tampa HB Plant Museum Building and its minarets, Ybor City National Historic Landmark District, Skippers Smokehouse, Tampa Theater(one of the 21 wonders), Busch Gardens, and a sunset dinner(Big Grouper Sandwhich) at Frenchy's Rockaway on Clearwater beach may be nice.

Arrow Bamboo Bay

Bamboo Bay - Jane Goldsmith assess both the brand and their products against a set of ethical criteria covering environmental impact, working conditions and fair trade. We don't expect perfection - garment supply chains are often complex and fragmented and many ethical brands are still small companies, but we do look for real commitment. In recent years a number of pioneering brands have started making clothes the ethical way. Best of all these clothes are superb, stylish pieces that make you look good and feel great.
