I was up on the Bucs website trying to buy tickets for the Jets game Nov 12.

There are plenty of seats left but it looks like they only sell 'Mobile' tickets. That is, tickets that you download to an app on your phone. Is this right? I don't want to download an app to my phone.

Do they provide any way to get hard tickets or even e-tickets that I can print at home?

Try Stubhub. Or call the Bucs ticket people.

If what you say is true, that's seriously messed up. Forcing people to us mobile device technology. They did that for entry to preseason practices for season ticket holders as a way to force people to download their app.

It's actually a good idea. Reduces paper. More and more teams/stadiums are going mobile only.

It's an obstacle. Paper is and can be recycled. It's (mandatory e-ticket) is a way for Ticketmaster and the Bucs to plant an app on your device. Then they push ads to you and further sell their product. Bucs need to make access easier, not more difficult. They're assuming everyone is tethered to a device as well

Mobile tickets does make access easier. No obstacle.

As I said, call them. They need to know that mobile only will reduce the number of tickets sold. They have a large number of empty seats every home game......

It is absolutely an obstacle. Will probably prevent me from going to the game. Not everybody has a smart phone and not everyone with a smart phone wants to download an app.

If they keep it up, they may all be unemployed soon.
