That's a perfectly nice opinion. Others disagree. See you back here in August when Publix reports second quarter results. Then we will have an even better idea of Publix's struggles. I will take time out of my Swiss vacation to study those results carefully.

Publix needs to send their management team to Wegmans to see "how its done". I think Publix has gotten complacent having a great presence in a fast growing state. Aldi, Walmart and to a lesser extent niche stores like Luckys, Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Sprouts and Fresh Market are invading their space and they need to "freshen things up" to stay on top. Things are not "hopelessly broken" and maybe a little competition is good for everyone.

I do miss the gargantuan seafood selection at Wegmans. Central Market also does a good job with seafood.

So do the Asian supermarkets.

Wegman's is nice. but it doesn't own Florida, where WE are....period. No need of talking about it.

There will be no censorship of Wegmans or any other retailer in this thread.

If you want censorship I'm sure there's a China forum somewhere.
