Default Tampa Bay area

There is an article in St. Pete Times today about the decline in jobs in the Tampa Bay area including St. Pete......construction jobs are down 8,000 jobs
professional/business down 5,700 jobs and manufacturing down 2,400 jobs.
On the plus side education/health 4,600 went up...government 3,700 jobs up
and other service 800 jobs up. Only suggestion I can make is make sure that you have a job before moving. Good Luck!!

Decent ,fair paying jobs are still out there in the construction industry, there is just far more people to compete with which is also bringing down the wages , a job is a job if you have bills and not many other options, I had been self employed in the service and repair industry since 2004 but watched my numbers go down each year as the economy slowed and became an employee again last year, it can be discouraging ,but there are still are plenty of jobs out there and companies are still hiring, I was a bit discouraged at first but did eventually find a worth while position with a company that I may stay with for some time if they will have me,but it took 19 months and several job changes to get where I wanted to be.All I can say is be positive, don't burn bridges and keep your options open until something comes along.
