Being in the engineering field, it seems that there are more data-driven IT jobs than engineering ones down here. The admin/engineering positions do exist but in smaller quantities and the competition is fierce.

Also, project coordination/management is *not* IT, even though they're frequently lumped in out of laziness on the part of the editor, I guess.
