I'm living in Atlanta right now and will be relocating to Tampa in July for a job. I'm single and 22 and don't know anyone in the Tampa Bay Area. Where should I live that isn't too loud but will be fun? I'm not OVERLY concerned about the cost, but it's something I consider.

Also, where can I go or what can I get involved in to meet people and make friends?

I would suggest the Post Harbor Island or Post Hyde Park apartments. They seem like younger, hipper places to be

anywhere around South Tampa areas like Hyde Park/SOHO, Bayshore, Davis Islands, Harbour Island, Channelside....Volunteer, meetup.com, church, art gallery walks, festivals......go places and do things you like to do, and i'm sure you'll meet people.

I agree with the people above me-and to meet people, Channelside is a higher class type and Ybor is more youngsters (sometimes not, the only good thing I think is there is Improv).
