Not to jinx hopefully, but as a fan of college football it's great to see USF ranked (#21) and see some diversity other than FSU, UF and UM in the national rankings. Since their schedule does not include any "big games" against typical powerhouse programs there is potential to run the table and at the very least score a New Years Day bowl game, which would be awesome for the program...Go Bulls!

As a graduate of both FSU and UF, I have to be honest in saying that it looks really good for USF with your new coach because he definitely knows how to recruit in Florida. Strong has a deep history of success recruiting the best talent in the state.

But as a guy who lived in Tallahassee for over 13 years, I only hope none of the players get in serious trouble like Winston. In the age of social media avenues like Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc. it's getting harder to coach off the field. Strong has already had to face that challenge this spring and seemed to meet it head-on in resolving the judge's diatribe. Hopefully, he is able to maintain control of his program so that nothing scandalous arises. Winston's accuser at FSU transferred to USF and graduated.

Strong is likely garnering interest from the elite bases of programs in Florida: St. Thomas Aquinas, Miami Central, Miami Northwestern, Lincoln, Wakulla, Seabreeze, Manatee, etc. He's well known and respected by FL HS coaches and former players.

Yes, he has inherited a good team, if he can make them play defense better this year then this could be a special year in Tampa.

Go Bulls !!!

Study: On-campus USF stadium projected at $200 million | Tampa Bay Times

This is an interesting development. Nicer to have a stadium for the students near or on campus. But damn, they need a roof, too, just like the Bucs.
