And now the track has wobbled back to the west a bit, showing it going up the spine of Florida.

I'm really getting sick of this.

Gotta plan for the worst. Well, not really, otherwise I'd have been AMF. But now time to prep for hunkering down/shelter in place.

It was kind of eerie in Home Depot and Walmart at 7 a.m. today.....ever been to Walmart on Christmas Eve? Shelves were empty, lots of people.....and you're wondering, WTF am I doing here? Go home! It is anxiety producing being out and about on the interstates and in some of the stores....

We went out to Winn-Dixie and it was interesting to see shelves empty of pop-tarts, pudding, soup and all canned fruit with exception of pineapple. Would be interesting to know why people didn't want the canned pineapple.

Other shelves were getting sparse looking, good way for store to clear out all old, nearly expired goods before they had to trash them.

Even with the slight westward swing it's still much better than it was several days ago for our area.

Irma! Are you prepared for this storm that seems to be heading out way!-uelu1ai.png

I'd expect to see some movement east/west as it gets closer, but would anticipate as models have tightly converged that it will stay within a pretty reasonable variance.

I saw this in another forum, thought it was interesting. It shows the path of hurricanes in September that were within 65 mile radius of Irma's position several days ago. Looks like this one is tracking to it's own path.

Pineapple is a natural laxative.

My eyepieces should stay dry sly. I don't expect much rain in my area as this storm will move pretty fast.

I just got back from Publix where the only loaf of bread (legit, a single loaf) was a tiny loaf of Pumpernickel.

We were expecting no bread, but WD had Wonder loafs it sitting on table at cash register and more on the shelves.
