I'm going with 30s, with gusts up to the 50s

Every reputable site I've checked hasn't called for dramatic rainfall here. Considering the hype I find myself confused.

Not gonna happen my friend. Here is what i just posted on another thread jed. No one is better than i am at this stuff duff.
'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' ''''''''''''' Looks like that ridge will break down even more and the track will change. Looking out to 3 days i see nothing to pull this storm into the gulf. The ridge 2358 miles out to our northeast could rebuild starting Saturday. If storm stays on the forecast track it is on now we will see winds to around 65mph in gust right on the west coast. Planty city may see gust to 75mph. But all it takes is the track to vary by 50 miles east or west to make all the diff in the world for us in the Tampa area.

If the storm track is 50 miles closer to us then we will get winds around 90mph or more in gust. As for rain, this is a faster moving system so local amounts in the Tampa area should be under 4". Worst case it some how gets into the gulf and loops into the Tampa area. But if the track stays well to our east then surge won't be a prob.

So as i see it we are looking much better than 24 hours ago. But crazy things happen so stay tuned and i will keep you guys updated.
Again local rainfall amounts won't be huge as this storm will not stall and keep moving pretty fast. The heavy rain will be on the east side of the storm. THIS IS NOT LIKE THE STORM THEY GOT IN TX where it got stuck and rained 50".

Monday 9/4/2017 is when bottled water was available. I saw people loading up to 10 plus cases of bottled water. Now it is Wednesday, you can't find bottled water anywhere. In Tampabay.

D batteries are not available at all, flash lights are all gone. It is a shame

Hate to see hoarding. Perhaps buying for others, neighbors, large families.

Also, I'd think that Houston got a lot of h20 supply diverted that way, maybe gasoline, generators, etc. Harvey flooding happened before we knew that Irma was going to be a bi***.

At least my scope won't blow away. No cane would move that 500lb mount.

I read that Walmart was diverting water deliveries from as far as Nevada to Florida area. I think a lot of people had hoarded the water, saw a picture where one guy had about 20 cases he was checking out. Maybe for family and friends, maybe to resell later - who knows. I know that when I turn my faucet I get water so I'll be filling up some water jugs with that magical elixir.

I heard about all the gas shortages, but on way home past several gas stations that were busy, but no lines and pumps were still running. Maybe the initial surge of fill-ups and water are done and we are getting back to "normal" soon.

New update on Irma tracks show that they have moved to the east slightly, but Miami is still in the sights for a couple of models. Keep positive thoughts going and hopefully it will continue to push further east.
