How quickly does he body acclimate to summer humidity ? Will after a while it he nothing out of the ordinary to me ?

Does being on the coast with ocean breezes make it feel better or worse ?

After the rain comes in in the afternoon is it cooler , less humid and breezy ? Or still humid after ?

I take it the winters is prettt much SoCal weather ? Low humidity , breezy ?

It depends. Some people love the hot humid stuff. Others stay indoors in the AC from May to October.

Same with the breeze. Some find it soothing, others find it as nice as a blow dryer to the face.

After the summer rains it is cooler but much more humid and there is flooding, the beaches get full of brown runoff, and people drive like idiots.

The winters are indeed like California, but without the great Mexican food.

1. Depends on the person. I have been here 4 years (moved from Atlanta) and each year it gets easier to handle the summers.
2. That's what some people say, but it is still hot every time I go to the beach.
3. I think it depends on when it comes. If the sun comes out after the rain it seems to get more humid. If the sun is already going down when it comes, it may feel cooler.
4. Winters here are really nice.

Well by now most should get a taste of whats to come by mid May. Already had a 85 in Tampa today and expect a super warm rest of this month and a super dry and hot March thru May. I never get used to a reverse west windflow and have lived here all my life. The sad facts are, it getting warmer and warmer and will get much worse in the next 30 years.

Our winters were much better 30 + years ago and we did not have the reverse west windflow almost all summer back in the 70's like we do now.

Reverse west wind flow is something a certain poster has made up. We get winds from all directions. Doesn't matter which way it's flowing in the summer, it's just hot! And we aren't getting our afternoon storms much anymore.

I will keep it short. Normal summer pattern is high pressure northeast of the Tampa area giving us a southeast windlfow. Rain moves toward the west coast later in the day.

Reverse west windlfow is high pressure to our southwest giving us a west wind and makes showers build inland from the coast early in the day and moving away from the Tampa area toward the east coast. Since gulf water temps are 85 to 90 and a west wind blowing off the water 24/7 makes the dewpoints and humidity higher compared to a southeast wind blowing off the land.

Don't let someone that knows nothing the weather tell ya stuff they know nothing about.
