Need advice on the SouthShore Falls Homes in Tampa. Anybody owns a home there? Need advice on the quality of the homes; how's the area, is insurance too high for being by the coast? Please comment on it.......

If we're talking about the same place, this is an age restricted neighborhood built by Centex in Apollo Beach. The homes I sold were new construction, but inspected by third parties with no defects found at all. The construction super gave us his cell phone number for direct questions or problems and he often stops by and visits. Both families still live there and really like it. They would like it better though if more retail was available. It's still in a rural area.

Default Sothshore Falls Homes

It might be the same homes. I know they are knew construction. I would like to have more information on them. Are there any new homes available there? What's the age restrictions they have? Is it an area that floods during hurricane season? Would the properties get destroyed during a hurricane?

Southshore falls is an age restricted 55+ community off Hwy. 41 in Apollo Beach. It appears to be a nice gated community thats been established for a few years. The homes are generally smaller, but its location is nice as its near the few eateries and shopping centers Apollo has to offer. So far as insurance and hurricanes go, Apollo Beach is very close to the shore and pays a premium accordingly. Theres no predicting what will flood during hurricane season, most of Apollo is in Zone 1 or Zone 2 which are the highest risk areas according to FEMA.
