I'm currently in Hartford County Connecticut looking to relocate to either St Petersburg or Tampa Florida from me some of the pros for moving to St Pete would be its closer to the beaches and it has that easy-going lifestyle sunshine small town lifestyle that I like my concern is that the job market is not that great and that is more expensive in St Petersburg where has Tampa is more City and I feel that the job market will be a lot better so I guess my question is I have a husband 11 month old 8 year old and my mother-in-law coming to move with me to Florida what would be better City to move to 4 a family of 5 with two young kids and being from Hartford County Florida's "ghetto" areas I would think wouldn't hold a light to some of her friends ghetto areas that being said would be some good areas in St Petersburg and Tampa plan on taking a trip down there March 20th 2018 thank you in advance for any and every advice. P.S. my husband's job industry is insurance companies administrative work Billings my industry is massage therapy/nursing customer service and hospitality

Is the period key on your computer broken? Reading this gave me a headache.

What's your housing budget? St. Pete and most of Pinellas County will be the more expensive parts of the area.

Use the "search" feature at the top of the forum. Everything you've asked has been answered time and time again...

Really depends on budget, and dont forget to consider schools. I think Hillsborough has the edge there. The more specific your needs/wants, and budget, the more advice people can give. Also, where will you be working?

Wages in Florida are low with a capital LOW. Those industries you mentioned will pay badly and you won't afford the cost of raising 5 kids in this state. A life of guaranteed pverty if you move here.
