Hey all

I'm relocating to Tampa for work, and I'm looking for a short-term rental while I'm selling my house in Boise. Shouldn't take long to sell, but there is fix-it work to be done that is just easier without us in it, so it will be delayed a bit.

I have two large senior dogs and three indoor cats, so I'm looking to buy as soon as I can. I searched the forums and didn't find anything recent about rentals. I would love to get some suggestions as to places I could contact. It doesn't have to be furnished, and it doesn't need to be very big. A friend of mine mentioned a corporate Air BnB in San Francisco, but I have no idea how that might work in the Tampa area.

Any advice?

I've also been looking for a short term rental but need it furnished. I can't find anywhere willing to rent less than 7 months. What's your budget?

something tells me that anybody willing to rent short term will shy away because of large dogs - might as well try one of those extended stay places

Homewood Suites Extended Stay Brandon, FL Hotel Rooms

Hope you like TB area - very different than Idaho (former Poky resident, ISU grad here).

Hi Pizza,

$1500, but I could go higher.

Hi Buc,

I hope I like the TB area too! I've enjoyed my visits there and have found the people to be pretty friendly. Any advice for an Idaho transplant?

I'll look into the extended stays, too. Thanks for the tip.
