Is anyone else disturbed by this? Almost anywhere Pinellas has any vacant land left, some developer is building these. I don't know who, but if these things rent out to full capacity, our roads are going to be a nightmare.

I can't believe someone gave the green light to these projects. Absolutely no thought for saving green space, just more cement and people to make it even hotter here. Back in the 70s we were told to try and conserve water. Guess that isn't a worry anymore. Just build build build! They will probably encourage building on the cemeteries next!

Gotta make room for all those people relocating to Florida for the warm weather and the beaches.

Seeing a lot of infills in Pinellas County. Price out of whack with local income as far we can see. Not good. Here I come 2007?...

It sounds cliche at this point to say, but it is true that "it's happening everywhere"... I personally think it's related to propping up the economy, and therefore will not stop... but that's a debate/discussion for the realty or finance forums, and would probably be accused of being a conspiracy theorist by a nut or two anyway!

When we moved here back in 1972 there were still orange groves around. I wouldn't know where to find one now.
