I bought my mega lotto ticket last night. I overheard some people talking about the odds not being good so just to be sure of the winning ticket I bought another one to "seal the deal"
.
I had a long talk with my dog last night about going over to pets-mart and getting a new collar before going to the new dog park in the morning. I woke up to the news that someone in South Carolina won my jackpot. How could this be? I did everything right and even bought the insurance ticket? The worse part is my dog will not look me in the eye this morning. I am going to have to rethink my strategy before playing the next drawing.

I won $20, on $50 worth of tickets... I just rolled the $20 into Powerball tickets for Saturday.

Wouldn't have spent it if I would have missed it. Problem is, many others lack that discipline and end up spending the rent or grocery money chasing the lottery.
A funny thing I noticed last weekend- much fewer people were out at the bar watching football on Sunday. I chalk it up to the bar money being spent on lottery tickets.
