Hi everyone...I am new to Tampa.. originally from New York and looking for a nice guy (in his 40's) to hang out with and show me the town. Where does one meet single men in this town not in their 20's and 30's?? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

Try the Daily Planet for things to do where you can meet others with like interest. My son goes to the bookstore a lot but I don't think he has met anyone there. LOL..

I know it is hard to meet someone now a days.. There are a few places for the over 30 crowd, Hyde Park or Harbor Island. Here is a thread.. check out Tampaguy03's response

You are speaking about Creative Loafing, not the Daily Planet(used to be the Weekly Planet), right?

Volunteer, Meetup.com has some great groups, for Bars with the 40ish crowd look at Jackson's on Harbour Island, Blue Martini at BayStreet.
