Is Tampa Half Ghetto/Half Trailer Park? Or is it three quarters ghetto, one quarter trailer park? All I know is that Largo is 100% ghetto. Are there any parts of Tampa proper that are neither trailer trash or ghetto?

I'd say it's about 53% ghetto and 47% trailer park. Granted, my percentages may be a wee-bit off, but they're accurate based upon the last time I checked.

According to my "Book of Official Statistics Ultratonic 4000 V.5.17.2", Tampa is 55.512% trailer park, and 44.388% ghetto.

And Largo is 100% trailer park.

No but seriously, have you ever been to South Tampa?

It's that peninsula that juts south of downtown.

South Tampa is the area of land south of Kennedy Blvd, with a little over 1/3 of the city of Tampa population...zips 33606,33609,33629,33611(one mobile home retirement village in this zip),33616(i think there are two more mobile home parks left in this zip-they have mostly been bought out by developers for townehomes and condos).

I dont really see much of the trailer parks except maybe in eatern parts of the city limits. As far as ghetto, i'm not quite sure, what some people look at as home, others may look at it as ghetto...to me a ghetto is an area of a city that is predominitely inhabited by an ethinic group or minority group, not necessarily good ro bad area..but thats me. I'd say East of Ybor City and North of Ybor City(sections east of I-275 from Columbus Avenue to Fletcher Avenue??)

I think it's funny when people dont understand a question as simple as the one I phrased. Especially when there is no right or wrong answer. Doesn't USF teach students how to think?

I found this,

2.Tampa162 up, 48 downThe best city in Florida; home of some of the chicos y chicas mas calientes in the world! Rated the 9th most dangerous city in the United States, due in large part to the area surrounding the University of South Florida, where crime rates are very high.

There are separate areas of Tampa:
-NORTH TAMPA is primarily lower-middle class Caucasians and Mexican-Americans.
-SOUTH TAMPA is primarily upper class Caucasians.
-INTERBAY, which is the area south of Gandy Boulevard, is primarily African-American and is another haven for crime.
-UNIVERSITY WEST, also known as SUITCASE CITY by the locals, is primarily African-American and Latino, and is the area that has brought Tampa to the #9 slot on the list of Most Dangerous Cities in the USA.
-WEST TAMPA, which includes the areas of BON AIR and COURIER CITY, is a primarily Latino area where not much goes on.
-CARROLLWOOD is a neighborhood which is technically in North Tampa, but it is home to the upper-middle class "yuppies".
-TAMPA PALMS is an area out in the middle of nowhere, almost to the Pasco County line, where a lot of rich people live because they want to be as far as possible away from Tampa because they don't want their precious children to be exposed to real life.
