Hi!

We relocated in October 2017 to St.Pete we love it here! But we now want to save up to buy a condo and are needing to cut costs down to be able to do this faster. Our Current rent is $1220 and we definitely get a lot for our buck. We have a ton of amenities and so far have not really taken advantage of pretty much most of them.we use the in until washer/dryer and the screened in balcony and that about it. I work on Madera beach and my husband works in downtown Tampa, our commutes are about 20 and 30 minutes right now but we are willing to travel a bit more.so the nitty gritty, I'm looking for something $800-$900 a month, we prefer not an apartment complex with pools and outdoor kitchens and this or that. We just want a decent unit in a safe location and are happy to cut out the amenities we don't use to get something nice and safe. Is this possible at this price range?
We been doing drive bye at some places we found on CL just to see what the areas are like and some we are pleasantly surprised and others we didn't even stop the car

what areas do you guys know and recommend? We are currently in the Gandy area but are willing to go as far as Tarpon Springs or as far south as Pinellas Point.

Thanks in Advance!

While Zillow is a great site for home buyers its also a good site for those wishing to rent ,heres an example of rents in the $500-$1000 range in St Pete =https://www.zillow.com/homes/for_ren...785_rect/9_zm/
