So whats it like?! I got a job offer and they're going to pay for my housing. Im not sure where the apartment is yet but they say its about a ten minute drive from the office.

It looks like your office is in the Westshore Business District, the second-biggest business district outside of Downtown Tampa. There are some nice apartments and townhomes in the area bordered by Westshore, 275, Lois, and Kennedy. The neighborhood used to be (and some blocks still are) somewhat rundown, but it's never been high-crime. You'd be close to work, plus Westshore Mall (middle-class) and International Mall (more upper-class). You'd have easy access to the airport, plus two of the bridges, making trips to Pinellas County (the beaches, Clearwater, St. Pete, et cetera) very easy.

I live in Westshore Business District, across from INTL plaza. It is a great location and about 5 minutes from south tampa which is the best nightlife spot in town.
