Is it normal for a 36 year old to have breathing problems in 105F heat?
I'm just wearing a t-shirt and shorts.

I ain't lying brian.
I left my car A.C. on for 25 minutes and it still did not cool down.
I'm starting to not care if Tampa pays me way more here than most places in Florida.
I'm about to head way up North. This is miserable. I feel like a hermit stuck in my house
unable to go out and enjoy life.

The months of May through September are not "outdoors" months for Florida. They are indoors months.
Just like the months of November through March are "indoors months" for the cold climes.
Enjoy your AC!

And Tampa doesn't care if you can't breathe. So much for due diligence before coming here?

Learn to embrace it or leave are your options. I did a bunch of gardening between 7:00 and 9:00 this morning and I didn't think it was bad outside at all.

Drink plenty of water, light clothes, breaks from whatever you are doing.

If on any meds, check with your doctor.

Heat stroke is insidious

Be careful!

age isn't the problem, common sense is - there are millions of oldtimers out walking here in FL every day.....you need to get acclimated by getting out and living ----do things early or late in the day when the heat isn't the worst and do like the Fireman mentioned - hydrate before during and after being in the heat -
