My husband and I were looking at a home in Bridgewater, but then I came across and article saying how horrible it was. The article is old, so I was wondering what the deal with Bridgewater is now. We have three children, ages 9,5, and 1 - and I want a safe place... is Bridgewater safe?

Bad neighborhood. Stay out of there. We looked there when we were relocating, and decided against it. You can do much better here that .

Default Land O Lakes

If relocating to this area stay away from Beazer homes in Tampa or specifically Dupree Lakes. Research Beazer homes we bought from them and have had nothing but home problems. We also have a friend who bought a beazer home and in another area and has had major structual issues.

You can go to http://www.pascosheriff.com/webapps/index.pgm and look on the neighborhoods and click on Bridgewater and see how many times the police is called and for what reason to that neighborhood. You can do that for many communities. (subdivision activity)

Thank you all so much for the info. No wonder there is such a great deal on a house there. 138,000 for a 4 bedroom... anywhere else in W.C. that I can get a deal like that?
