Hello all,

We are considering a move and will be in town next week. Can anyone out there help with some recommendations about what to see and where to go?

From my research thus far, I have been directed to South Tampa, St. Pete, Palm Harbor and Dunedin. What areas should we avoid and are there any other good areas to see?

We are the kind of people who like to walk, go to historic areas, boutiques, farmer markets/whole foods, beaches, and local restaurants rather than chains whenever possible.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

S. Tampa, St Pete and Dunedin all are good for the above.
Seminole/Belleair also very nice and close to beaches.
Near to both of those is the Heritage Park/Botanical Gds and Gulf Coast Museum of Art.
Depending on how much time you have, they should fill your days and give you plenty of room for thought.

Check out Safety Harbor. It is very close to Dunedin and has a Farmers Market on Friday am's. Lovely spa and pier and village like to stroll around. Nice un-glitsy eating places too.
