My wife and I are currently covered by my COBRA plan which expires in September of 2020. At that time, I will be 65 years old, so I will no longer need private coverage, rather will be on Medicare. My wife, however, will only be 63 years old, so she will need private coverage. I noticed that many doctors accept Florida Blue in my area (St. Petersburg) and I was wondering if anyone of you are covered by then and if your experience has been positive. Also, did you purchase thru the ACA (Obama Care marketplace) site or go directly to a Florida Blue office which I see along strip malls. Any advice, info, etc. would be deeply appreciated. My wife is a two time cancer survivor and I want her to have the best coverage possible. Thank you for your time

We went through BCBSF directly. At first a representative came by but that was approx 15 years ago and ever since we deal directly with them through phone or online.

What can I say...We are happy, except for high deductible and high premium but when we shopped around we stayed due to better rates.

Dealing with BCBS has been a good experience. We have PPO

We contacted Humana directly and signed up for a Medicare Advantage plan that we are quite satisfied with.
