Florida in the summer looks more like your home... cause that's where you'll be, in the A/C!
Lots of posters on the Florida forum wouldn't know a kayak from a rowboat. They're too busy superglued to their keyboards in case they miss an anti-Florida post. Check the post counts if you don't believe me ...

LOL you guys are killin' me

I wonder if the difference in our opinions/experiences living in Florida as it regards to livable or comfortable wages varies so significantly because all of our backgrounds also vary so significantly. It is the melting pot of the country after all.

The costof living. in tampa bay is creeping up with my suburban area outside philly almost daily now. The rents are sky high and in many instances a one bedroom is much higher now in tampa Bay Area. For a decent low crime rental. How do those on lower salaries afford to live in tampa bay? Atleast up here there are higher salaries to afford an apartment.

I'm curious as I'm looking to move to the area, but on my fixed income...it doesn't look as promising as it did a year ago at this time.
