I was outside today and all of a sudden water starting pouring down my body. It was a chilly water and it was falling from above my head. This was such a strange experience since I have moved to Florida. I was accustomed to it much more regularly in Puerto Rico, but it seems so foreign to me here. I never would have thought it was dry so much in Florida.

It rains all the time. Besides the fact that it rained today, which is normal, what is the point of this thread?

I will explain it better and slower for you.

It.....Does....Not....Rain....Here....Nearly....As .....Much......As......I......Thought.....It.....W ould.

I am not from here and I had this illusion that it rained much more often, like it did back home. I am commenting just one of the many things I have noticed since being on the mainland.

Does that make it easier to understand?

Im guessing you just moved here. Wait a few months and it will be downpouring pretty much all the time.

And yes, saying It.....Does....Not....Rain....Here....Nearly....As .....Much......As......I......Thought.....It.....W ould, without the condescending attitude would have made it easier to tell what you meant.

Well you got that response after YOU were condescending:

Not condescending at all. Simply pointing out the fact that it rained. If stating a fact is condescending to you then I apologize. Still doesn't change the fact that your OP didn't state what you were trying to convey.

Come on folks, it was a sarcastic post. I got it.
Yes, it was nice to see some rain (we need it) but then my yard turns green as the grass grows, then I have to get out in the hot sun and cut it!!!
