That puts me in my happy place. With my back yard facing east, I have no blinds on my florida room windows. I have 9 large windows that bring in the day light for my wife and I to enjoy. That first thing you notice when walking into that room is all the happy beautiful plants soaking in the florida light. By noon the sun is heading to the front of my house and I can go outside and enjoy the rest of the day. Nothing like sitting outside in florida enjoying nature and her greenery without a roof or screen overhead. So relaxing to take in the soothing heat to relax your body and mind. We get plenty of breezes during the afternoon as the summer storms creep nearby. If your lucky enough to get a summer shower those can take the edge off the heat and humidity as well. March-January should give you plenty of time to be outside.

Sounds like paradise ;-) Though I could actually create a similar list for Chicago (or anywhere) yet still like living here with one caveat, the weather hence this thread.

I have read every word you wrote and will say it again....you are absolutely clueless as to what the Summer weather feels like here for at least 5 months. IF you do sit on your patio, at 2AM in the Summer, you will have a fan on and aimed at you and sweat profusely. Good Luck with your decision.

Some people can handle the warmth and humidity and love it in florida. This is paradise for them.
Others can thrive in the cold, so up north is for them. Gray gloomy skies with temps below 65 get me depressed. I don't live up north and complain about how cold it is. I live for the sunshine and live in florida. The last thing I want to do is live some place that keeps me inside most of the year. What a miserable life that must be, feel bad for all the people that spend time around them.

Sounds like someone who was kidnapped and brought somewhere they don't want to be.

Don't even know who cockney is bro. Sure is true about owning boats blokes, best day is buying 1 and selling one.
