I read about 6 months ago that I-275 was given the green light to be widened from 6 to 8 lanes from the interchange with I-4 up to Bearss Ave.

Is that still underway?

Dumb project in my mind. How much is adding one lane going to help? Not much. The larger transportation structure in the area needs to be addressed. We badly need good public transportation in the area.

Considering that portion up 275 is clearly under capacity and the I4 interchange is always bottlenecked, it'll help. No reason for the service lane to be bigger than the driving lanes.
