I am looking to rent a boat to cruise around the gulf with friends on my birthday. Does anyone know of any places in Pinellas that rent boats by the half day at a reasonable price? I am looking for a 6-8 person Sea Ray speed boat or something similar and newer.

There is a new place opened on Indian rocks Beach, I don't have the number just now. If you want it, I can drive by and find it. My sister rented one of those nice new pontoon boats that hold up to about 12 people, with a bimini top for $225 I think for a whole day, so a smaller period of time might be less. They had a great time on it.

There's a man downtown St. Pete (at The Pier [off to the side, next to the Floating Chapel]) who does all sorts of water craft rentals. I don't have his number on hand though, sorry.
