Hi,

I am researching areas for a possible move from South Florida. I will be uprooting 3 girls from elementary, middle and high school. I am looking for a family friendly neighborhood, that has Jewish reformed temples and an excellent school system. I think in this housing market, we could find a pretty good deal in many neighborhoods. However, I am completely unfamiliar with the area. All advice would be appreciated.

Thank you.

There is a Temple in S. Tampa.. Sorry I don't know if it is reformed, but I think it is.
Are you looking to buy, rent? What price range? Work Location, acceptable commute time?

The Real Florida Jewish Directory - Tampa Bay Map & Jewish Demographics

Maybe this link can help you find the reformed Temples you are looking for. I have seen some temples , one in Palm Harbor, one in Clearwater.

There's a reformed temple in S. Tampa (Scharai Zedek--my spelling might be off). They have a wonderful preschool if you need it. There's also one on Fletcher in the Carrollwood area (a very nice area for kids and families)....and there's Hillel school on Fletcher, too.

There are a few sites that show you scores and the accountability reports for various schools in Florida. This site is a user friendly version to do research.

Florida schools - Florida public schools - Florida school ratings - FL schools - Best Florida schools

Also here is what the state provides:

Florida School Indicators Report

Good luck moving down!
