I am hearing one beach is better than the other - and I am clueless, so I will leave that to you experts here.

We are wanting more "fun" - not the total since we have teenagers with us.

I like the trolley idea and walking to restaurants/sights to see.

I also want to be right at the beach...... a clean one that is easy on the toes....

Thanks!

Sandy and Dan,

Clearwater Beach is undergoing some construction/facelift activity. The changes to date look quite nice. The vendors set up every day and evening on Pier 60. Treasure Island and the surrounding areas are a bit older. Both very nice, though.

Default More to do in Clearwater, More to relax in Indian Rocks

Sandy and Dan,

Both beaches are very nice and very close to one another. Clearwater has more of a traditional vacation beach feel while Indian Rocks is quieter yet has some great restaurants to drive to.

Clearwater beach's renovation has really made this an incredible place but construction is ongoing.

Have fun
