From old posts, you mentioned in the past to be in the profession of building engineering, as you claimed to have a lot of knowledge about homes, County code, etc.

For that reason I assume you should have the knowledge how insurance works.

It is called inflation, it is manufactured in Washington DC. Prices have jumped up at the gas station and the supermarkets.

And she still increasing. With the new COVID variant and shut downs of air flights etc the cost will only increase. JMO.

I hear more and more that cash buyers are going for self insured for their homes and only cover what really is important and lower contents. Many cash buyers in flood zone areas where hardly any flooding has been, don’t even cover their homes for flooding.
