I commute to work every day through the Veterans Expressway, and unfortunately, this morning, a small pebble flew out of nowhere and cracked my windshield for the 2nd time in less than six months! FDOT should better maintain the roads as the road debris is getting out of control!

Wait till you have to dodge a couch, like I did. Or a ladder, like my hubby did.

I had the same rock/windshield experience in Arizona and Nevada. The stones likely fell off a truck.

Many times a pebble can pop out of another vehicle's tire tread after getting up to speed, etc.

Probably. I drive on the Suncoast/Veterans practically every day as well. I do 30-40K miles each year in a company vehicle. We keep them three years. I've had to get a windshield replacement in each one. Only one stone hit happened on there. I had one happen on I-75 and the other on US19.
