That's what sales taxes and gas taxes are for! Now tolls cost more due to the admin fees tacked on by the third party companies since most are unmanned now. Just a racket for money.

Tennessee, Arkansas and Missouri, heavily Republican states have no toll roads. Toll roads are more of a northeast thing.

There is already a $225 "administrative fee" for registering a car from out of state. Been that way for decades.

No, I mean even for those who are just driving here for a vacation, after all we already have a number of "fees" for rental cars, why let the ones who bring their own car here avoid that tax.
