The Chik-Fil-a in Port Charlotte always looks crowded too.

I think Culver's is the closest thing we have around here to Chik-fil-A. I can't think of any place that stands out as #3.

My Son worked at Chik-fil-A for a while, & he said it's a great org & well-managed place that treats employees with respect.

From the time they are open till they close there is a line out the parking lot. The county had to enlarge the turn in lane off causeway blvd because of the overflow onto the main blvd. Ever since the protest and boycotts against them, they have extended their popularity and them some.

Chick-fil-A locations are constantly busy.

Most Chick-fil-A locations have made attempts to address long lines at the drive thru. They have adopted McDonald's idea of half lanes where you order food at the order station, but have no windows to pay and pick up your food. (Some McDonald's continue to fail as orders are not ready at the pickup window in the complete drive thru lane, and they come out twenty minutes later with illegal drugs, body waste, and food not cooked or overburnt.) At select locations, two complete drive thru lanes with the order station and pay/pickup window exist, or the window has been replaced with a door to walk out to the second lane for payment and pickup.

I wanted to buy gas at the Sam's Club pumps next to it and could barely turn off of Dale Mabry coming south into the parking lot.
Maybe it's some special deals they're offering or coupons?
Don't see the attraction of the food either.
I've eaten Chick-fil-A but thought it kinda meh.
Never a line on Sundays!

Ft Lauderdale store had the line backing up onto US1 (as big of a road as Dale Mabry)

Love their spicy chicken tenders. Don't like their sauces though. Best waffle fries ever.

There closing on Sundays is a good thing it seems to me. It has not hurt their business model or decreased their customer base or loyalty!

Good for them, I say.

Even places like Wal-Mart decided it's not necessary for success to be open on every darn Holiday, ditto Target.

If someone is angry or disappointed that they can't get their "Waffle Fries ON" on a sabbath, lol, I say just try your local 7 Eleven and get a bag-o-chips LOL

Hopefully, they've seen the error of their past transgressions.
