Furthermore, can you document a case of that actually happening? I'll wait.

The way I understand it, people got up in arms because the owner/family supports Christian causes with positions they disagree with. Somehow that's spun into talk that the actual company is actively engaged in the practice of discrimination. If that were true, where are the court cases that the media would have no problem reporting?

I have no vested interest - I don't work there, I just patronize the place.
Maybe he asks if they provide benefits to his domestic partner? Or mentions his husband's career outlook?

Heading back from Lakeland last night on Hwy 60 going through valrico around 930 last night. Passed a wendys with 1 car in drive-thru, 3 cars in parking lot. Burger king dead. McD had three cars in drive-thru and 4 in parking lot. Chick-fil-A had a dozen+ @ drive-thru and 6+ in parking lot. Pretty much typical for an average night. Its always the off peak hours that tell the story especially for restaurants.

That's typical for CFAs near other establishments. The only time you see an uptick in business is on Sunday when CFA is closed. I've seen that in multiple locations in multiple states.

CF explains benefits in great detail, just like Bank of America, Ford Motor Company, or General Motors.

CF doesn't inquire about status (e.g. marriage, living arrangements, etc etc). Neither do most companies. In many cases and in most states it can be illegal).

Companies don't ask about religion either...duh, or how many children you have (illegal)...or even if an applicant is married or divorced !

Most intelligent applicants and candidates don't discuss ANYONE else's "Career", other than their own! That's inappropriate and has no bearing on any legitimate interviewing process! More importantly, why would any thinking candidate mention someone else's "career", when they aren't even the applicant sitting before them. That's stupid to do that, it's even more illogical for any candidate to discuss anything other than his qualifications, skills, background, desires and how they may be a fit with the position he is interviewing for.

Good grief!

Don't like Chick-Fil-A ? don't buy anything there....or don't apply for a job there. CF does a masterful job in "sticking to its knitting", focusing on the mission, group effort, treating its employees and customers well, producing a good product, and MAKING MONEY.

Chick-Fil-A is not in the "social engineering" or "social science", or "sexual identity support" business.

It's in the food service business....and they clearly have the communities' support if you trust your eyes.

Exactly. And that's what I choose to do.

They have good food, decent employees, clean establishments. Don't like someone's view on religion? homosexuality? politics? prices? then don't shop there but don't attempt to malign a business based on whether the company, owners, patrons embrace homosexuality. So what? We all don't think the same on many issues - what that has to do with selling good food and good service I have no idea.
