I was serving at this restaurant in Carollwood up until last week when I quit. Not gonna say which restaurant it is, but I'd strongly advise against working there, unless you want to see a restaurant where everything that could be wrong, is wrong. Couldn't take it anymore so I quit.

In my head I figured I would find another serving job at least within a few days, but here I am over a week later without even having had an interview so far. I've looked everywhere but it seems like not a single restaurant in Tampa Bay is looking for servers for right now, with it being slow season for restaurants right now.

I live in a pretty good "in-between" spot of Tampa Bay, with easy to access to just about anywhere in Hillsborough, Pasco, or Pinellas. If anyone knows of restaurants looking for servers, preferably full-time work, PLEASE let me know. Anywhere in Hillsborough, Pasco, or Pinellas will suffice.

Unless you're looking at small mom-and-pop restaurants, all restaurants in the area are always "looking" for servers even if they don't actually need any servers at the time, aka restaurants will always hire "good" help. Even if they don't "need" anybody right now, it's a high turnover industry and most every restaurant has at least a couple/few servers they'd like to push out the door if they could just find some better help.

Do you have a lot of experience in the industry, or was this your first job? Did you work there long? Are you trying to apply to these places online, or are you actually going in in person? Restaurant managers are generally busy and overworked. They're generally not going to bother giving you a call if they don't actively "need" servers right now. But, like I said, they're always looking for good, personable people. Hit the pavement. Go into these places between 2-4 and get yourself some interviews.
