Since the proposed stadium will seat about the same number of people that the current one does, there is the suggestion that the Rays owner(s) are trying to attract a wealthier crowd, not a larger one.

Not sure how this a gift for the wealthy unless you're talking about the investment group but yes, most people are bothered by their tax dollars going for a baseball stadium and the rest of the nonsense.

At least there's no provision for a train. We wouldn't anyone to have a convenient ride to a game or to downtown St. Pete.
